First Baptist Church

Promoted Critical Capital Campaign Through Social Media and Printed Material

The Challenge

As churches fight to keep young families engaged in church, First Baptist Huntsville realized that they needed to renovate their children’s area to meet the needs of the next generation. However, in order to do that, they needed to raise $7 million through a capital campaign to cover the costs.

The Solution

To truly and deeply engage with the congregation, we knew that video stories would make a huge impact. We also knew that creating a website for people to visit to get the most up-to-date information would be critical. Additionally, a booklet for people to take home, read over, and remind people of their commitment would be essential.

The Execution

SweetWater was hired to create an overview video, encouraging the congregation to participate in the campaign. We also created a website that is intuitive and user-friendly, along with a take home booklet to serve as a reminder of their commitment to give. Through these efforts, along with the generosity of the congregation, First Baptist Huntsville raised over $8 million.
